I don't even come on blogger anymore. Go follow my instagram. Or my tumblr if you know it.. I'm not sure when I'll make a new blog post because I've been working so much and have too much housework to do on my days off.

It's already April!
Saturday, April 6, 2013 @ 10:06 PM
I guess I can safely say it's spring. Meaning, no more dreaded nights of the temperature dropping to the high 20's. No more driving through fog (for a few more months a guess/hope). No more thermals. The list goes on..
The best, and most disappointing part of spring was the cherry blossoms. ❀ They started to bloom last week and now, maybe a week and a half later, they're all pretty much dead. I thought they lasted a little longer than that. I swear the city hall's trees (which were by far the best in Renton), only lasted with a full bloom for 3-4 days. Huh.. I'll post a bunch of pictures later.

I've had a lot going on lately. Trying to finish up my online class (which is a whole 'nother story), work, keeping my doggy occupied. I haven't had much time to blog.. I use instagram & twitter a heck of a lot though if you follow any of those.

I'll do a real blog post on Monday when I'm off. (^____^)/"

Ciate Nails
Thursday, March 28, 2013 @ 12:28 PM
I bought the ciate nail caviar last May and have only used it a couple times since. I bought the navy blue/black one. At the time they also had a white polish with colored beads - like sprinkles, and if I'm not mistaken, one other color. Since then I've seen a bunch of different ones, and new textures. It's really cute, but these don't last very long.

You first put the base coat on and sprinkle the beads through a tiny little funnel that it comes with. It's great for a special occasion, but by the next day, most of the beads will have fallen off.

This is what it looks like right after being done ~

Immediately, the beads on the edge were falling off and I was like "no way is this staying on." So, I put a lot of topcoat on.. It kind of takes the paint off the beads and got my brush dirty. It also didn't look nearly as detailed.. But it lasted about 5 days with topcoat. When it started falling off, it came off in chunks so at least I could see it and throw it away instead of littering thousands of little beads.

With topcoat ~ The photo isn't as close though >.<

Evidence of how long ago it was, my birthday month gift from Sephora.

The sugar fresh lip balms are actually really nice. They taste good too!

幸せなバレンタインデー!♡
Friday, February 15, 2013 @ 11:29 AM
(Photos via iPhone 5 & Sony NEX5n)

Happy St. Valentine's Day!  幸せなバレンタインデー!

I spent a while making Reid a card. I'm a crappy gift giver unless I know what he wants. For instance, I could never buy him shoes because we have completely different tastes. So we always just say "can I buy this and say it's from you." That's pretty much how any gift-giving holiday goes. It works out though since we always get what we want! (@^____^@) Although we do get actual surprises half the time. Hehehe.

He got me flowers a couple days before because he knew I wanted white roses and didn't want them to sell out.

My roses, chocolates & extra Snoopy chocolates! So cute. The front of my card ~ I have really nice print handwriting but my cursive sucks. It's straight up terrible. I borrowed stole that "Valentines Day" font from Chris Ota's instagram post. I tried to make the word "Happy" match but couldn't.

I always find the coconut ones first. Muahahaha! I'm pretty good at finding them too.

Our favorite Japanese restaurant, New Zen, moved a few months ago. They used to be a minute away from our place but now they're in downtown Renton. I was really excited to go since we hadn't visited their new location.
They have better Japanese food than most of the restaurants back home. Yumiko, the owner is so sweet. She's always waitressing too.

Heart balloon decor! ♡♡ Our waitress let me take two! She was so nice. I wish I got her name.

The foodporn section.

I had agedashi tofu & beef curry. Reid has chicken katsu and salmon.

I'm not sure what kind of sushi Reid had but I chose the shrimp tempura maki. For dessert: green tea ice cream. ♡ まちゃ!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Spoiled Pup
Thursday, January 31, 2013 @ 4:54 PM
Our not so puppy-like, puppy, Hanzo is incredibly spoiled. I've never been much of a dog person. Sure, I think small dogs are cute, and there are a few breeds where I would say "ahh, I want one because they're so adorable," but I never thought I would really have a dog for a pet. Even Hanzo, he's cute but sometimes a lot of times he annoys the crap out of me, yet I still always want to buy him stuff. (>___<) LOL.
I think he's a pretty conceited dog because whenever he's out, everyone wants to pet him and compliment him. He doesn't get along with other dogs either - probably because he thinks he's so cool. I mean, what other four and a half pound dog would try and fight huge dogs? Hanzo..
Crazy pooch. But he can't help that he's so adorable.

Here's this fashionista ~

Reid's mom bought him this jacket - Seahawks colors!

We got him a martha stewart pets collar from Petsmart. (^__^) So you fancy, huh?

His dog tag from Petco, and the making of it with the engraver machine.

Another martha stewart item. A cute embroidered vest with fleece inside.

A "Carl the monkey" jacket from Reid's mom. It looks so WARM!
He also suffers from first child syndrom because all we do is take pictures of him.. Huh..

200th POST!
Saturday, January 26, 2013 @ 9:28 PM
Agggg!! Can you believe this is my 200th post?!

Neither can I. *sparkles* *sparkles* I just needed it, okay.
Unlike on my tumblr where I just passed 3,000 a week or so ago and now I'm at 3,122 because of all the nice pictures I reblog. Hehehehe.

I really wanted to do a giveaway in celebration but I don't have many public followers and thought not many people would enter. I have so many repeat visitors (yes, your city shows up in my trackers (not feedjit, it's inaccurate) - among other stats (nothing creeper though!)) but I don't know if you guys just don't have blogger accounts or you just want to check my blog every other day and never drop me a line. What the french, mate?! Comment.. I'll respond - I promise!

That's part of the reason I changed my layout, as you've noticed. The classic templates are so much more customizable. It would be the reason I'd be staying up until 2am trying code after code. It drove Reid crazy that my sleep schedule was so messed up.. However, there are a lot of add ons that become difficult to add in (eg. disqus). It took me weeks to get in on my last layout but I could never get entries to show how many comments there were.. And I never got back to people - SORRY YOU GUYS! It always said a sad "0." I figured I'd just use the upgraded ones now, while it's actually harder for me to fiddle with the codes, it's make blogging stress-free almost since I won't be up all hours of the night trying to add, change, twerk* stuff.

I'll just stick to fiddling with my iPhone 5 pictures with all my awesome apps.

That's myself, our puppy (he's going to be 6 in March but he's only 4.5lbs so we call him a puppy), Hanzo, and my husband, Reid

Hanzo isn't the most photogenic so I gotta try extra hard to make him pose.

Oy. I have so many awesome photo unloads to do because of my post procrastination. For example, I went to Sea Fair this summer, took over 100 pics, and felt overwhelmed. I don't want to resize, watermark, and enhance these.. As you've probably noticed, I haven't really been editing my pictures. Nada enhancement, my camera can do that if I remember to put the setting on. The few pictures of mine that I've found on other sites have been crediting me so I'm taking a hiatus from watermarking, and as for resizing, I just changed my camera setting to a smaller size and just code in the widths. Am I getting lazy? I think not.
I still edit some, just not crazy posts where I think at least 70 of my 150 pictures are blog worthy.

Until next time ~
